1. Check before starting
Before starting the fertilizer granulator, the following checks should be done:
• Ensure that all fasteners are not loose and the transmission system is normal.
• Check that there is enough lubricating oil in the lubrication area to reduce mechanical friction.
• Ensure that the moisture of the raw material is moderate (generally controlled at 20%-40%) to avoid affecting the granulation effect due to too dry or too wet.
2. Standard operation to prevent clogging
During the operation of fertilizer granulator, uneven feed or overload can easily lead to blockage and affect production efficiency.
• Uniform feed: Use conveying equipment for stable feed to avoid excessive feed instantaneously.
• Control material granularity: Too large or uneven material may damage the granulation parts, it is recommended to use a pulverizer before granulation.
• Regular cleaning of the granulation chamber: prevent materials from remaining in the chamber, causing agglomeration or blockage.
3. Prevent uneven particles
If the fertilizer particle size is uneven, it may affect the fertilization effect.
• Adjust the speed: The speed of the drum granulator and disk granulator will affect the size of the particles, and should be adjusted appropriately according to the characteristics of the material.
• Reasonable control of water: Adding the right amount of water in the granulation process can improve the molding effect, but too much water will cause the particles to stick.
• Check mold wear: If the mold is seriously worn, the granulation effect will be affected, and it should be replaced in time.
